Reviews of Bialetti Aeternum Nonstick Cookware Review

User ReviewsBialetti Aeternum Nonstick Cookware ReviewUser Rating5 out of 5Love this Cookware !!March 24, 2013By Shelby1955I have been using a high end stainless cookware for over 40 years which was great when I was young. Now that I am older, it's seems to get more difficult to pick up the Stainless Steel cookware especially when they have something in them, still great cookware though, and they are still my first choice. But since I had bought this cookware set of 5 pans and 4 lids, I find myself reaching for those first! I like they way the handles feel, the way they cook the food, and most of all the SIMPLE clean up. They never stain, but you can lose some color is you scoot them around on the burner or bang them around too much hitting something with them. I didn't think I would like the color, but I like the white in the bottom...really I can see what every thing is doing. I have to give them a 5 star along with my stainless steel cookware die hard product! Oh, and this cookware is way easier to clean!! Thanks for making such a great cookware!7 of 8 people found this review helpful.1 out of 5horrible cookwareMarch 15, 2013By mjb23cdb33The skillet I bought was beautiful, but it is the worst cooking vessel I have ever used.I paid $39.00 FOR IT.I AM SO GLAD that I only bought one.I have been cooking for 60 years and I know what I am talking about.I'm sorry, but there is not one good thing I can say about it other than it is pretty.1 of 5 people found this review helpful.2 out of 5Look good, doesn't performJanuary 07, 2013By meygerI used the set for about a month before repacking them up and bringing them back for a refund. I found that the bottoms chipped much too easily even when I was trying to be gentle in placing them and taking them off of the stove. I really was careful, they still chipped.  And if you make the mistake of not centering the pan on the cooktop, and it;s too close to the hot flame, the rubber/plastic piece connecting to the handle will singe and smell of burning.  If you cook quickly, and make even one mistake in banging them, you pay for it. just not worth it.13 of 15 people found this review helpful.5 out of 5Love these pans !!October 28, 2012By Katt2468I have these pans in 3 sizes and have used them on a daily basis for a year now. I like the fact that- Bialetti Aeternum cookware is coated with what the company calls a ""nano-ceramic"" coating.Teflon Coating It's a water-based coating comprised of titanium and silicate particles (the main component of glass). I feel this is a healthier coating to cook on. I have cooked with these pans excessively and even left them on high heat by mistake and they are still in great shape and with a thin layer of oil provide a non-stick surface. My only suggestion when using these pans is to cook with a medium heat because that is all that's necessary since it cooks so evenly. I highly recommend these pans !12 of 12 people found this review helpful.3 out of 5CautionOctober 10, 2012By freemar57We have had this pan for three months, and at first we loved it. Our caution is to never cook blueberry pancakes, as the blueberrys will leave a stain and then other foods start to stick. We returned it to Bed Bath and Beyond, and they replaced it without hesitation. We will have to see how long the new one hold up. For the most part satisfied.3 of 3 people found this review helpful.5 out of 5Love this pan!!!!July 14, 2012By feralcat_1I have had my skillet for about 5 months now and I use it every day. I have fried steak, potatoes; made a fresh tomato sauce for spaghetti; sauteed onions and mushrooms; cooked eggs every way imaginable, I can only say that I ""Love this pan!!!"" Cleaning is as easy as 1,2,3, it has not discolored on me, and it actually cooks everything faster than any of my other pans! Highly recommend this product!!!11 of 11 people found this review helpful.5 out of 5Works perfectlyMay 27, 2012By nminohioI initially bought the small pan to make omelettes. Works perfectly for all egg cooking (which is pretty much all I've used this pan for). I have used that pan 10 or 12 times with no change in the condition of the pan. The surface releases well, is soooo easy to clean, and the color is still white. I've now purchased the larger pan and have used it several times on non-egg cooking with the same outcome. I have high end All-Clad pots and pans, but I prefer these pans for quick morning cooking because it's so easy to use.  Also, I do not care for my pans as well as other reviewers-- I stack all my pans in a relatively small cabinet without much care. So far, no chips-- not saying it won't happen-- it's just not my experience.4 of 4 people found this review helpful.1 out of 5Aeternum...a disappointmentApril 16, 2012By peggywesI have used the Bialetti Aeternum saute pan for four months now, and already am disappointed in it. Initially, I loved the way it released the food from its surface, and cleaned up with only a wipe of a dry paper towel. I have followed the manufacturer's care guidelines implicitly, never using higher than medium heat, and never cleaning with abrasive cleaners, only the paper towel I mentioned. After four months, using the pan 2 to 3 times a week, on a smooth ceramic cooktop, this is what I have experienced: Food no longer releases easily; it sticks. I must scour the cooked food film out of the pan, with a fine nylon mesh pad; no more paper towel cleanup. The inside white surface is turning gray. The outside red surface is chipping off.  This pan has been well cared for, yet it is not holding up. I will NOT buy another piece of this cookware.10 of 10 people found this review helpful.1 out of 5the worst I have ever hadApril 08, 2012By Priscilla6758I bought this pan when It first came out, with only the first use the coating around the edge of the pan had becom damage just from storage, & I use pads inside each pan I have to prevent damages, So I took it back to the store with recipt to exchange it, then the next one went bad quick the handel became loose & the surface turned a ugly burnt on shade of ivory & brown, I saved the sleeve it came with , with recipt attached to it, Then it boasted a 5 year warrenty, I PAID $17.65 to send it back with letter & requested my money back, they didn't do that !!!! they sent me another stupid pan !!!! I want everyone to know it may be perfict for the person that doesn't cook at all ever, or just don't buy this pan ever anyone, I hate this pan. & now there is no warrenty on the label. guess I know why.1 of 1 people found this review helpful.PTFE Coating Spray
