PTFE Coatings The company sells cooking tools, cookware and bakeware, tabletop items, countertop appliances, kitchen cutlery and other cooking-related products. The stores also have a full roster of cooking classes, in-store demos, knife sharpening services and other amenities. We talked to Gregg Smith, buyer for The Cook's Warehouse, about what the hottest things are to give as gifts. What are some fun stocking stuffers or small hostess gifts that you'd recommend?:We've got some great wine related things that have been selling really well. For instance, we carry whisky stones, which you can keep in your freezer and drop into your drink. I also really like Cuisinart's cordless rechargeable cheese graterand OXO's egg beater (compare prices), which is like the old fashioned crank egg beaters. Rosle also has a pair of tongs that lock and unlock just by turning them upright or upside down. What about countertop appliances and other big-ticket items?:The hottest appliance right now is the Sous Vide Supreme. It's gotten a lot of attention, and we've sold way more than I thought we would sell. The full sized model is selling better than the Mini version, and we've also sold a lot of the Sous Vide Supreme cookbooks. Are there any fun motifs or designs that have been selling well?:Anything with a pig on it has been doing unbelievably well! We carry little whisks with a pig design on the handle that I can't keep in stock, and we also have bib aprons that have a flying pig pattern, which are really hot right now.Let's talk about entertaining. What's must-have for hosting holiday feasts?:We have a new tabletop line called Tag. Everything is $29.99 and below, and it comes in different colors so it's easy to change up your dinnerware's look for the holidays.More Gift-worthy Products from Cook's Warehouse:Bialetti Aeternum Frying Pan: Smith says that this pan is an excellent eco-friendly option at a great price. Its nonstick coating isn't made with potentially toxic chemicals like PFOAor PTFE, but with a nanoceramic coating that resists scratching and creates a slick surface for food.
Zoku Quick Pop Maker: Keep the Zoku in your freezer and you'll be able to have delicious ice pops in a matter of minutes. This is a great gift for families with young children; they'll be able to get creative with their own flavors, and the pops they make can be healthier than those bought in stores.
WellnessMats: Any home cook will appreciate the support and comfort of a WellnessMat floor mat. The comfortable, resilient surface can help improve circulation, posture and general well-being for someone who's on their feet for extended periods of time.
Escali Pana Baking Scale: Help baking enthusiasts perfect their craft with a scale that can calculate measurements not only in ounces and grams but also in cups and tablespoons.
